Over 60s play in the Mayfield Centre from 2-4 pm Mondays and Thursdays. Refreshmen­ts available. New members welcome.

CIVIL DEFENCE CLUB

Bingo on Wednesday and Sunday, eyes down 8pm. Entertainm­ent on Saturday with Robert Watson. There is a prize bingo night on Friday, March 29. Free hire of hall on Fridays.

ST NINIANS COMMUNITY CHURCH

On Friday, the RE:Fresh Cafe serves tea, coffee and cakes from 11am -12.45pm. Sunday service is at 10.30am. Both held in the Mayfield Centre, all welcome.

ST NINIANS OLD PARISH CHURCH

The service on Sunday at 10.30am will be conducted by Rev Gary McIntyre. Sunday Club will meet and tea, coffee and biscuits will be served following the service. There will be a short Communion service in the Parish Halls on Sunday at 1pm. The Tuesday Group AGM will be held in the King Robert Hotel on Tueday, March 19 at 7pm. Tickets for the concert to be held in the church on Friday, March 22 at 7.30pm can be obtained from Ken Christie on 01786 472756 or Mary Jenkins on 01786 46222. Tickets can also be purchased at the church door on the night of the concert.

COUNCILLOR’S SURGERY

Councillor Alison Laurie will be in the Mayfield Centre tonight (Wednesday) at 6.30pm.

ST NINIANS UF CHURCH

On Sunday the service at 11am will be conducted by Rev Martin Keane. Children’s activities will take place at the same time. Evening service at 7pm will be conducted by Mr Keane. On Tuesday at 6.30pm XTB club for those in primary school will be held followed at 7.30pm by Source for those in P7- S2.
