COMMUNITY LIBRARY

The grand opening of the library was on Saturday in the Dumyat Centre with author Wendy H. Jones. Thanks to all who supported this event and to those who supported the book sale at the UF Church the previous week. The communityr­un library is open on Monday 10am2pm; Thursday 5-7pm; Friday 10amnoon and Saturday 10.30am-12.30pm. More informatio­n can be found at @ ourdumyatc­entre.

MENSTRIE PARISH CHURCH

Pulpit supply for the next few Sundays are as follows: June 23 - Rev John Rushton; June 30 - Rev Paul Sewell; July 7 - Rev Scott Brown. Rev Scott Brown, minister at Buchlyvie with Gartmore, has been appointed as our the church’s new Interim Moderator. The next meeting of the kirk session is on Tuesday, July 2 at 7pm. Tea in Two continues every Wednesday from 10.30-11.30am until June 26. It will then take a break and restart on September 4. There are teas from 10am on the last Saturday of each month through to September. Donations continue for The Gate food bank in Alloa and deliveries are made after the last Sunday of each month. Please do not donate perishable goods as they may go off, before they are delivered. Monetary donations can also be made in lieu of goods. The Gate is once again organising a school uniform bank and is accepting donations now. All welcome to services and activities.

MENSTRIE UF CHURCH

Sunday worship at 10am will be conducted by the minister, Rev Jason Lingiah. The next prayer meeting and bible study takes place on Tuesday, July 2 at 10.30am in the church. Donations for the The Gate foodbank in Alloa can be handed into the church or at the manse. For informatio­n about church hall lets, please contact the minister at the manse on 01259 215278.
