The church in King Street, opposite the Golden Lion Hotel, holds Sunday divine services at 6.30pm. Healing services in the Healing Sanctuary Tuesdays 7-8pm and on Saturdays and Mondays 11am-noon. CHURCH OF THE HOLY RUDE

Sunday’s joint service with Viewfield Erskine Church will take place at 11am in the Holy Rude. At the close of the service there will be a short communion in the St Andrew’s Chapel to which all are invited. Remembranc­e Service will take placeon Sunday, November 10 at 10.45 am All services will be conducted by Rev Alan Miller. The congregati­on is asked to be seated by 10.30am on November 10. Masterwork­s Chorale from Leeds will give a concert “A Glimpse of Heaven” in the church at 3pm on Saturday, November 2. Entry to the concert is free, but there will be a retiring collection for Strathcarr­on Hospice. The next social event in the church will be an Auction of Talents evening on Friday, November 22 at 7pm. Tickets £10 to include wine or soft drink and canapes, may be purchased from Findlay McIntosh, Fliss Gale, Sara McKinlay, Alison Dale and Barbara Rogers.

HOLY TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH

On Friday, Holy Communion will take place at 11am and on Sunday, Holy Communion will be at 8.30 am followed by Sung Eucharist for All Saints at 10.30 m. On Sunday at 6.30pm there will be Sung Eucharist for All Souls with Act of Remembranc­e. If you would like names read out during the All Souls Service, please print them clearly on the names sheet at the back of the church. Tots Cafe meets in the church hall every Monday at 10am. The cafe requires a volunteer co-ordinator which would be ideal for someone looking for unpaid work to build up a record of work experience, or as a volunteer commitment.
