BANNOCKBUR­N BUTTERCUP CAFE

Helpers/volunteers required at the cafe in Allan Church Community Hall every Monday 2pm- 3.45pm. If you can help in any way, just pop in for a tea/coffee and ask to speak to Olive or Margaret. This is a dementia friendly well-being community café, helping people and their carers with socialisin­g and activities. The cafe is open to all members of the community with or without ailments/conditions. There is dominoes, cards and musical bingo.

BANNOCKBUR­N HOUSE

Christmas Fayre will take place on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1. There are a few paper tickets left in Traynor’s newsagents. We are now planning for hosting Robert Burns’s evening on January 25. The night will include music, burns poetry, food, and drinks. Tickets will be available soon. We need items for our tombola at our Christmas Fayre this weekend. If you have anything that you would like to donate, please contact events@ bannockbur­nhouse.scot. You can find out all about our gardens at our website. We have a wonderful monthly blog from Margaret in the gardening team.

Sunday December 1 joint Advent service of all local churches in Murrayfiel­d Church at 6.30pm. All welcome. Sunday school in the church hall. Crèche available. If you wish your child/children to attend speak to Kirsty MacGowan (Sunday school superinten­dent). Today (Wednesday) community craft club 2-4pm. Last meeting until January 2020. Tuesday, December 3, coffee club 10- 11.30am Team 3. Coffee and a piece of home baking £1.50. All welcome. Help with digital hymnary / power point service presentati­ons - speak to Lesley or Douglas. Help required to assist at the Tuesday coffee mornings – speak to coffee club members or Margaret Tough.
