TEA’S COMPANY

The community cafe project is open to all local residents to enjoy a free cuppa, slice of cake, some company, conversati­on and music every Monday from 2-4pm in the Honeyman Hall at Bridge of Allan Parish Church. The community initiative is supported by Bridge of Allan Community Council, Bridge of Allan Parish Church and Bridge of Allan Co-op and will be hosted by a team of locally recruited volunteers who will guarantee a warm welcome to all.

WALKING GROUPS

ROCK’N’REEL

Fitness classes for over-60s with routines set to Scottish/contempora­ry music on Tuesday in Bridge of Allan Parish Church 2-3pm. Suitable for wheelchair users. Cost £4, including coffee. Call Tricia Chillas on 07740 676639.

YOUNG AT HEART

Low-impact dance fitness classes for ages 50-plus, Mondays in Bridge of Allan Parish Church Hall 2-2.45pm. Low impact class for 60-plus is available on Thursdays 11.15am-noon. Fridays from 11-11.45am (over 50s). Call Janice on 07565 182259.

Members are reminded about Monday dominoes at 8.30pm and Wednesday’s short mat indoor bowls at 7pm.

LECROPT KIRK

Sunday worship commences at 11.30am. Creche and Sunday school available. Door duty as per rota. Joint evening service in St Blane’s at 6.30pm.Kirk Session meets in Lecropt on Saturday, December 7 from 10am -noon with “Action Plan “discussion. Thursday at Lecropt continues tomorrow (December 5) in the hall from 2-4pm Everyone welcome.

BRIDGE OF ALLAN PARISH CHURCH -

On Saturday, December 7, Christmas Afternoon Tea is in the Chalmers Hall from 2.30-4.30pm. Preparatio­ns are well underway for delicious home baking, tea and musical entertainm­ent from young and old. There will be pass the parcel, carol singing and a surprise visitor. On Sunday, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at 11am and 6.30pm. Both services will be conducted by Rev Dan Harper. There will be a creche, Sunday School and Coffee Fellowship takes place in the Chalmers Hall.

ST SAVIOUR’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH

Work is ongoing on the roof, so please note that venues for services have changed - Sundays 8am Eucharist in St Saviour’s Hall; Sundays 9.15am - Sung Eucharist in Bridge of Allan Parish Church. Coffee/tea are served in St. Saviour’s Hall after the 9.15am service. Aerobics classes for seniors have recommence­d at Stirling County Rugby Club on Mondays from 2-3pm and Wednesdays from 10-11am. All welcome. Bring a bottle of water and a smile.
