BRIDGE OF ALLAN PARISH CHURCH

The Sunday School Christmas Party will be held in the Chalmers Hall on Saturday, December 14 from 2pm. Sunday is the Christmas Gift Service, collecting gifts for the Salvation Army, Women’s Aid and Cornton Vale Prison. The service is at 11am and will be conducted by Rev Dan Harper. There will be a creche. Sunday school and coffee fellowship takes place in the Chalmers Hall. There is a joint Nine Lessons and Carols service, with St Saviour’s Episcopal Church at Bridge of Allan Parish Church at 6.30pm on Sunday, December 15. Tea’s Company will be having a Christmas buffet with entertainm­ent on Monday, December 16 between 2pm and 4pm in the Honeyman Hall. Tea’s Company run a weekly cafe on Monday afternoons for anyone feeling isolated or alone. The cafe is wheelchair accessible and dementia friendly. featuring the Stirling Male Voice Choir. ROCK’N’ REEL

Aerobics classes for seniors have recommence­d at Stirling County Rugby Club on Mondays from 2-3pm and Wednesdays from 10-11am. All welcome. Bring a bottle of water and a smile.

WALKING GROUP

The church in King Street, opposite the Golden Lion Hotel, holds Sunday divine services at 6.30pm. Healing services in the Healing Sanctuary Tuesdays 7-8pm and on Saturdays and Mondays 11am-noon. CHURCH OF THE HOLY RIDE

Joint Sunday service will take place at 11am in Church of the Holy Rude and will be conducted by Rev Alan Miller. Christmas Gift Service will be incorporat­ed during the service and the request is to bring household goods. Please do not wrap gifts but wrapping paper will be most welcome. The church choir will be presenting a Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at 6.30pm on Sunday. followed by seasonal refreshmen­ts in the South Aisle. All welcome. Watchnight Service at Holy Rude on Christmas Eve begins at 11pm with community carol singing and the service at 11.30 pm. All welcome to this annual service.

HOLY TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH

On Friday, December 13, Holy Communion will take place at 11am and on Sunday, Communion will be at 8.30am followed by Sung Eucharist at 10.30am for Advent 3. On Saturday, December 14 at 7.30pm the church’s Christmas Concert takes place. See website for more details. ST COLUMBA’S CHURCH

Sunday’s service at 11am includes the Nativity Play with the service led by Rev. Elinor Gordon. Activities, in age appropriat­e groups, will be available for younger people (creche to teens) and everyone is welcome. The Service of Lessons and Carols will be on Sunday, December 22 at 11am. At 6.30pm on Tuesday, December 24 there is a Christmas Eve Family Carol Service followed by tea/coffee and mince pies in the main hall and at 11.30pm the Watchnight Service will be led by Rev.
