Bible hour is on Sundays from 2.15pm with Sunday school at the same time.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL

Bannockbur­n Community Centre on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm.

BANNOCKBUR­N BUTTERCUP CAFE

Helpers/volunteers required at the cafe in Allan Church Community Hall every Monday 2pm- 3.45pm. If you can help in any way, just pop in for a tea/coffee and ask to speak to Olive or Margaret. This is a dementia friendly well-being community café, helping people and their carers with socialisin­g and activities. The cafe is open to all members of the community with or without ailments/conditions. There is dominoes, cards and musical bingo.

LADYWELL CHURCH

The service on Sunday at 11.15am,the third in Advent, will be led by the minister Rev Liz Robertson. Sunday school is held during the service. Team Two will be on duty. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

ALLAN CHURCH

Gift Day Service (Third Sunday in Advent) on Sunday is at 11.15am led by Rev Philip Hacking with Welcome Team 3 on duty. All welcome. Sunday school takes place in the church hall, creche available. If you wish your child/children to attend please speak to Kirsty MacGowan (Sunday school superinten­dent). On Tuesday, December 17, coffee club is from 10-11.30am. Team 2 on duty. Coffee and a piece of home baking £1.50. Thank you to all who came along to support the Christmas Festival of the 12 Days of Christmas. It was an incredible successful day, made all the more special by support and donations. Thanks also to the church members who worked tirelessly throughout the day. Help with digital hymnary/power point service presentati­ons – speak to Lesley or Douglas. Help required to assist at the Tuesday coffee mornings – speak to coffee club members or Margaret Tough.

MURRAYFIEL­D UF CHURCH

Mrs Ena Henderson’s funeral service will be held in the church at 1pm on Friday. Sunday’s service will be led by John Cross at 10.30am after which there will be a short carol-singing practice led by Alison Scott. The welcome team is Jean Bell and Jan Cross; the offering team is Jane Robertson and Jean Hastings. Also on Sunday at 2.30pm, there is a special Community Christmas Concert in the church with the Resonate Singers making a welcome return. Tickets are £5 and include tea, coffee, mince pies, etc.
