The church in King Street, opposite the Golden Lion Hotel, holds Sunday divine services at 6.30pm. Healing services in the Healing Sanctuary Tuesdays 7-8pm and on Saturdays and Mondays 11am-noon. ST. COLUMBA’S CHURCH

Thanks to those who brought children’s gifts which were passed on to be distribute­d by Women’s Aid Stirling at Christmas. The last Stirling Kirks Together All-Age Friendship lunch on December 9 welcomed more than 50 people from the town centre congregati­ons for carols and food. The next regular lunch is on Monday, January 13 from noon to 1.30pm. All welcome to celebrate Christmas at the following services in St Columba’s: tonight (Christmas Eve) at 6.30pm, Family Carol Service led by Rev Elinor Gordon (followed by tea, coffee and mince pies in the hall) then 11.30pm Watchnight Service led by Rev Ray Gaston (tea, coffee and shortbread are available in the hall from 11pm). Tomorrow (Christmas Day) at 10am, a short Family Service for all ages led by Rev Elinor Gordon. On Sunday, December 29 at 11am Rev Elinor Gordon will lead the service at which the Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated. Creche available and there is tea, coffee and an opportunit­y to chat following the service in the Main Hall. The church office is normally open Tuesday to Friday 9.30am to noon but will be closed during the festive period and re-opens on January 7. CHURCH OF THE HOLY RUDE

Tonight (Christmas Eve) Christingl­e Service in Viewfield Erskine Church from 6.30pm and Christingl­es will be made in the hall from 6.30pm. Watchnight Service in the church begins at 11pm with community carol singing and the service at 11.30pm. All welcome to this annual service. There will be no services on Christmas Day. Service on Sunday will take place at 11am in Viewfield Erskine Church and will be conducted by Rev Alan Miller.

HOLY TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH

Christmas at Holy Trinity begins with Midnight Mass at 11pm tonight (Christmas Eve) and tomorrow (Christmas Day) Holy Communion will take place at 8.30am followed by Sung Eucharist at 10.30am. On Friday, December 27, Holy Communion will take place at 11am and on Sunday, December 28, Holy Communion will be at 8.30am followed by Sung Eucharist at 10.30am.
