Caley Marts sold 134 cattle comprising of 74 prime bullocks, heifers and young bulls and 60 OTM cattle.

Prime heifers reached 240p pkg for a Limousin from W Dandie and Sons, Learielaw, Broxburn purchased by D Campbell and Son, Butcher, Callander and to £1505 for a Limousin from D Dickinson, Brockwoodlees, Canobie purchased by HA Black and Son, Butcher, Stirling.

Prime bullocks topped at 228p pkg for a Limousin from JH and NT Turnbull, Meadowend, Clackmannan purchased by HA Black and Son and to £1450 for the same animal.

Well fleshed beef OTMs averaged 128p selling to 176p pkg for a Limousin from W Dick and Sons, Mains of Throsk, Throsk and to £1190 for a Charolais from DM Laidlaw, Craigannet, Carron Bridge.

The overall average including feeding OTMs was 119p. Dairy cows averaged 78p selling to 102p twice, from TS Thomson and Sons, Kirkton of Beath, Cowdenbeath and A and N Christie, Dalfoil, Balfron to £760 from the same home.
