Over 60s play in the Mayfield Centre from 2-4 pm on Mondays.

CIVIL DEFENCE CLUB

Two sessions of binogo on Sunday, eyes fown 8pm. with £100 jackpot in the second session. Entertainm­ent on Saturday by Stevie Watters. Hall can be hired for free on Fridays.

ST NINIANS OLD PARISH CHURCH

The hall management committee will meet tomorrow (Thursday) at 12.30pm and the Kirk Session will meet on Thursday at 7.30pm. The service on Sunday at 10.30am will be conducted by the Rev Gary McIntyre. There will be a creche and the Sunday Club will meet. There will be a service on Sunday in Eccles Court at 1pm and Westerland­s Care Home at 1.30pm. Messy Church will take place in the Parish Halls on Sunday from 3.30pm until 5.30pm. There will be craft work, singing, games and food. All welcome. Craft Group will meet on Tuesday, Janaury 28 at 7pm. Articles for the spring edition of The Parishione­r are now due.

ST NINIANS UF CHURCH

Sunday’s service at 11am will be conducted by A Brown. Children’s activities will take place at the same time. Evening service at 7pm will be conducted by Rev Martin Keane. On Tuesdays, XTB Club for those in P1-P6 meets in the church hall from 6.30-7.30pm followed by Source for those in P7 - S2 from 7.30– 8.30pm.

ST NINIANS COMMUNITY CHURCH

Re:Fresh Cafe with tea, coffee and cakes on Fridays from 11am to 12.:45pm and Sunday service at 10.30am. Both held in the Mayfield Centre. All welcome.

COUNCILLOR’S SURGERY

Councillor Chris Kane will be in the Mayfield Centre tomorrow (Thursday) at 6.30pm.
