BANNOCKBURN BUTTERCUP CAFE
Helpers/volunteers required at the cafe in Allan Church Community Hall every Monday 2pm- 3.45pm. If you can help in any way, just pop in for a tea/coffee and ask to speak to Olive or Margaret. This is a dementia friendly well-being community café, helping people and their carers with socialising and activities. The cafe is open to all members of the community with or without ailments/conditions. There is dominoes, cards and musical bingo.
BANNOCKBURN HOUSE
Bannockburn House Illuminations will take place on Saturday, February 29. Tickets cost £10 and are available on Eventbrite. The ticket price includes a buffet and musical entertainment. Ther are two showings at 6pm and 8pm. The trust is currently looking for volunteers and hoping to establish an archaeology team to take forward the archaeology strategy. If you have time on your hands and think you would enjoy volunteering, contact volunteer co-ordinator Ross Caldwell on events@ bannockburnhouse.scot. A variety of events are at Bannockburn House and some rooms are available to hires. Although currently there are limited facilities, all enquiries considered. ALLAN CHURCH
Service on Sunday at 11.15am will be led by the elders with Welcome Team 2 on duty. All welcome. The service will be followed by ther annual Valentine Soup and Sweet lunch. Donation only. Sunday school takes place in the church hall after the start of the service. Creche available. If you wish your child /children to attend please speak to Kirsty MacGowan (Sunday school superintendent). On Tuesday, February 18, coffee club is from 10-11.30. Team 3 on duty. Coffee/tea and home baking. All welcome. Tonight (Wednesday) at 7pm, board and session meet. Tomorrow (Thursday) at 2pm. Bible Study. Help with digital hymnary or power point service presentations – speak to Lesley or Douglas. Help required to assist at the Tuesday coffee mornings – speak to coffee club members or Margaret Tough..
CRAFT CLUB
The club will be held today (Wednesday) and Wednesdayu, February 26 from 2pm till 4pm but will most likely stop due to lack of interest – watch this space. Thanks to all who previously attended.
LADYWELL CHURCH
Tomorrow (Thursday) the coffee morning is from 10am till noon. The monthly coffee morning takes place on Saturday, February 22 from 10am till noon. All welcome. The service on Sunday is at the usual time of 11.30am. Sunday school is held during the service. Team Three will be on duty. Tea is served afterwards. Volunteers still needed to help with this and soup makers for the last Sunday of each month. Please look at the rotas in the vestibule. On Monday, February 17 at 7.30pm, the Ladies Group have their text night.
MURRAYFIELD UF CHURCH
Sunday’s service will be led by John Cross at 10.30am. The welcome team is Alex Morgan and a volunteer; the offering team is Joan Moore and Ann Lomax. The Connect Groups meet next week on Tuesday and Wednesday (February 18-19).

Councillor Chris Kane will be in Hillpark Community C entre tomorrow (Thursday) at 6.30pm.
A prize bingo will be held on Friday, February 28. Eyes down 7.30pm All welcome.
