BANNOCKBURN HOUSE
A few tickets remain for the spectacular light show at 8pm on Saturday, February 29 and can be purchased on Eventbrite. Warm clothes and sturdy footwear are essential for anyone attending. All vehicles to be parked at Corbiewood Stadium for transport by minibus to Bannockburn House. The weather has not stopped the garden team creating new paths and erecting the polytunnels which will be used to grow plants and fresh produce in line with partnership with the Climate Challenge Fund. Also with CCF’s support and in partnership with Forth Environment Link, volunteers have been enjoying cookery workshops which in future will use the produce grown in the polytunnels and garden. The trust is having a new website designed and running a competition to find the ideal image of the front of Bannockburn House for the website. Full details on Facebook page. The trust is currently advertising for volunteers to join an archaeology team to take forward the archaeology strategy, and also anyone wishing to take part in youth work. TEA’S COMPANY
The community cafe project is open to all local residents to enjoy a free cuppa, slice of cake, some company, conversation and music every Monday from 2-4pm in the Honeyman Hall at Bridge of Allan Parish Church. The community initiative is supported by Bridge of Allan Community Council, Bridge of Allan Parish Church and Bridge of Allan Co-op and will be hosted by a team of locally recruited volunteers who will guarantee a warm welcome to all.

ST SAVIOUR’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
Work is ongoing on the interior of the church building so please note that venues for our services have changed. Sundays 8am - Said Eucharist in St Saviour’s Hall Sundays 9.15am - Sung Eucharist in Bridge of Allan Parish Church. Coffee/tea served in St Saviour’s Hall after this service. Today (February 26) is Ash Wednesday and there will eb a Said Eucharist in St Saviour’s Hall at 11am followed by tea/coffee. This is a quiet reflective service. There is also a Sung Eucharist in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Dumbarton Road, Stirling at 7.30pm.
BRIDGE OF ALLAN PARISH CHURCH
Sunday worship takes place at 11am and will be conducted by Professor Nick Price. There will be a creche and Sunday School and coffee fellowship takes place in the Chalmers Hall afterwards. Thursday Night Group meets tomorrow (February 27) at 7.30pm in the Session Room to hear Clive Wright talk about ‘Three Years as the Stirling Makar’. The next meeting of the Guild is on Tuesday, March 3 at 7.30pm in the Honeyman Hall. The topic for the evening is ‘Japanese Gardens’.
