Bus tomorrow (Thursday) v FC Copenhagen leaves the Scots Wha Hae at 6pm. Bus on Sunday away to St Johnstone leaves the Civil Defence Club at 1pm.

Lucky letters were S, N and E. There were two winners - Snedz and Lorraine Simpson c/o PMS. Each win £150 each and jackpot returns to £100 this weekend.

Names for dinner dance at the Golden Lion Hotel on Saturday, March 21 to the committee. from noon-2pm. All interested players welcome.

Foursomes (foursomes matchplay). Entry to the former is £5 and the latter £10 per couple. Increase in entry fee is reflected in substantia­l increase in prize funds; winners, runners up and losing semifinali­sts all receiving prizes. Closing date is Saturday, February 29; entries will be accepted now, however subscripti­on fees in full must be made by due date. See notice in gents’ locker room for full details of how to enter, prize lists and T&Cs. Steven Knox and Colin Ferguson/ Darek Kunecki will respective­ly defend trophies.

With more course closures very likely over the coming weeks due to the weather, members are reminded of the fantastic reciprocal arrangemen­ts Stirling has with a number of courses, including Kilspindie GC on the East Lothian coast.
