THORNHILL PLAYERS

The Players are appearing in the SCDA One Act Play Festival which will be held in the Cowane Centre, Stirling tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday), curtain up 7pm.

NORRIESTON CHURCH

Rev Ellen Larson Davidson will lead worship on Sunday at 10am. Today (Friday), the World Day of Prayer will take place in Kippen Church at 2pm. This week’s Lenten Walk will leave from Kippen Church at 10am tomorrow (Saturday), tea and coffee will be available after the walk in the Church House. Lent Bible Study continues on Monday, March 9 at 2pm in the Lion and Unicorn, the study is based on the book of Ruth, “Coming Back To God When You Feel Empty”. All are welcome to the above events. The Stated Annual Meeting of the church will take place on Monday,

March 16 at 7.30pm. A good attendance is hoped for.

NORRIESTON GUILD

The Guild at Norrieston Church will hold its spring concert on Wednesday, April 1 at 7.30pm with entertainm­ent provided by the Mondaylele­s. Tickets at £8.50 are available from members, at church and from the shop and will include refreshmen­ts. There will also be a sales table and a raffle. Contributi­ons and assistance welcome.

GARDEN CLUB

The next meeting of Tillicoult­ry Garden Club will take place on Wednesday, March 18 in the Ben Cleuch Centre at 7pm. Waste Ground to Show Garden is the subject being presented by Lynn Cameron. Members and visitors are welcome.
