Service of Sunday, June 14 by Rev. Ken Russell will be online for the week. BANNOCKBURN HOUSE

The AGM of the Trust took place via Zoom on Tuesday,. June 10. Chair Penny Ellis gave her report, outlining achievements and challenges, thanking funders for their support and praising the hard work of the volunteers who are at the heart of the project. She also touched on the issues facing the Trust because of the pandemic; particularly the loss of self- generated income and the inability of volunteers to be on site, although groups have been working virtually and with vulnerable people in the local area. She finished by thanking everyone for their continued support. Trust volunteers have been giving their bread making skills a workout, using kits provided as part of the Climate Challenge Fund partnership. Guidance on how to make bread and pizzas can be found on the Trust’s Youtube channel. Preparations are under way for the return of volunteers to Bannockburn House when it is safe and permitted to do so. Hand washing stations, hand sanitisers, one way systems and social distancing will all be in place when the volunteers return.
