Fishing from the bank Gerry Grattan from Kincardine kept two fish weighing 5lb and released two, Derek Fowler (Dunipace) caught and released three, Raymond Pirrie (Tullibody) c/r four and Kevin Smith (Kinross) two for 5lb 8oz.

Boat anglers doing well included Ron Mitchell and Brian Duncan (Dundee) who caught and released sevn, Gordon Price (Glasgow) kept five fish weighing 12lb, Mark Sturrock (Crossford) c/ sixr, Andy MacKean (Dunfermlin­e) took three fish weighing 9lb and released three including a 4lb blue trout.

On the club front Stanley AC kept 13 fish weighing 24lb 8oz and Catch 22 AC had five weighing 14lb 14oz. The best flies have been the Kate McLaren, Okey Dokey, Olive Buzzer, Cormorant, Hothead Damsel and the Muddler whilst the most productive fishing areas have been the North Shore and the Dam Wall. c/r on Bloodworm, Keith Murphy (Bannockbur­n) three for 10lbs 8oz on a Humungus, F McMillan (Camelon) had 10 c/r on Daddies, J Anderson Landsman (Stenhousem­uir) three for 11lbs on an Ally, E Davidson (Perth) three for 9 lbs on Bloodworm, S Cairns (Perth) used a Damsel to bag three for 10lbs, Eric Law (Barrhead) two for 6lbs on an Ally, Ian Law (Barrhead) two weighing 5lbs on a Pinkie. J Fleming (Tullibody) 13 c/r on Olives, J Fleming Jnr. (Glasgow) 15 c/r on Buzzers and the Yellow Owl, David Birkmyre (Crieff ) two for 5lbs 12oz on a purple/blue Buzzer and John McGillivra­y (Perth) used dries to catch two weighing 5lbs. patterns were Yellow Dancer, Ace of Spades, Damsel, Cormorant, Diawl Bach, Kate McLaren and Buzzer.

Fishery opening hours remain 8am to 2.30pm and 5pm to 9.30pm every day except Thursday when there is no evening session. Anglers are reminded to socially distance, to book ahead when possible, and that contactles­s card is the preferred method of payment. Face coverings must be worn in Reception when purchasing permits and other items.

Among the successful fly anglers this week were George Evans three for 15lb including 7lb Tiger and 5lb 12oz Gold; Ian Whitfield 7lb Gold; Sheena Whitfield 6lb 4oz Gold; Robert Park three for 10lb 8oz including 5lb Gold and a Blue; Ross Carroll four for 11lb 12oz plus four c/r; Andrew Matthewman two for 9lb including 6lb Gold;

Ross Martin, in three visits, eight for 21lb 8oz including 4lb Gold from the Millpond; Willie Nyguist, in two visits, six for 16lb 4oz plus seven c/r; Robert Watt three for 9lb 8oz including a Gold; Gavin Johnston three for 9lb 8oz including 4lb 12oz Gold; John Pryde three for 8lb 4oz; Danny Doherty three for 8lb 4oz; Stuart Bell three for 8lb plus two c.r; Kieran Lydon three for 8lb; Donald McMurchie three for 7lb including a Blue and a Gold plus three c/r; Thomas Hemmings two for 6lb 12oz including 4lb 12oz Tiger and a Blue; Lee Petale two for 6lb; George Dobbie two for 6lb; Lewis Turner 5lb 8oz Gold; Rhys Cove six c/r; Bill Henderson four c/r; Stewart Marshall three c/r including a Brown.

Some bait anglers were only getting a single fish but there were also some cracking Golds being caught with Worms and Power Bait being the most successful methods this week.

Among the best catches were Paul MacFadyen two for 9lb including 6lb Gold; Alan Yates two for 7lb 8oz including 5lb 4oz Gold and a Blue; Modris 6lb Gold; Giraldas 5lb Gold; Josh Kerr three for 9lb 4oz including 4lb 12oz Gold and a Blue; Iain Fern two for 4lb including a Gold; John Fern four for 7lb 4oz including three Blues; Jamie Morgan two for 4lb 4oz including a Blue; Dean Cooper two for 4lb.
