ST SAVIOUR’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
All public worship is suspended until further notice. All meetings, study groups, events and social gatherings connected to St Saviour’s are also suspended.
BOWLING CLUB The final of the mixed singles competition was held on Monday August 3 and was won by Jimmy Mckenzie. Subject to the required social distancing measures, the clubhouse is open for the usual Friday night bar session and our rink days and evenings (Monday and Wednesday afternoons for ladies [although this week it is an evening session]and Wednesday evenings for gents) are in full swing. A three bowls pairs competition is also being played with the final on August 22 which, in normal circumstances, would have been our club finals day. The winner of this week’s joker was Melvyn White. As always, anyone wanting to try lawn bowls should come along and give it a try. Qualified coaches are available.
