ALVA WEE COUNTY WALKERS

Monthly meetings are cancelled until further notice. All funding received for Alva community events from EDF has been transferred over to the Alva Coronavirus Joint Response Group. Alva Development Trust is coordinating this group and the service can be viewed on Facebook. BANNOCKBURN MURRAYFIELD UF CHURCH
The church building will remain closed, at least until phase 4 of lockdown. Meantime, Sunday services continue at 10.30am on Youtube at Murrayfield UF Online, where a selection of hymns and prayers can also be found. The Congregational Board meeting has been brought forward to Monday August 24 at 2pm via Zoom.
LADYWELL CHURCH

BANNOCKBURN HOUSE
Bannockburn House was featured in The Best of Stirling video compilation of Stirling Highland Games on Saturday, August 15. The video, in which project director Jim Bennett talks about the history of the house and the community buyout, is available on Bannockburn House Facebook page. The work of the construction team in preparing the site for the new toilet block is also showcased in a short video on the FB page. Bannockburn House and gardens are closed to the public at present, however, the Trust is working hard to ensure safe opening when restrictions are eased.
