Play your part and have a say on Forth Valley policing
Residents in Forth Valley are being urged to make their views known about policing in their area.
Police Scotland launched a survey earlier this year –‘Your Police 2020-2021’– which asks communities across the country to share their opinions on the policing response to coronavirus within their area.
It also included questions on public confidence in the police and perception of crime in local areas.
Chief Superintendent Alan Gibson, of Forth Valley Police Division, said:“the survey is open throughout the year to help us understand people’s views of their local police service, as well as share any concerns about safety and wellbeing in their local area. I would thank everyone across the Stirling, Clackmannan and Falkirk communities who has taken the time to provide feedback so far and would strongly urge you to take part. Whatever challenges we face in the forthcoming months, your responses will help ensure our approach to policing is relevant and responsive to the needs of the local communities we serve.
“We have maintained a high level of public confidence in local policing over the past few months and this is reflective of the strong and valued relationships our officers have built across our communities and partnerships.
“The survey takes no longer than 10 minutes to complete, so in the time it takes to have a quick cup of tea, you can play a crucial role in shaping our services for Forth Valley Division and beyond.”
The survey can also be completed over the phone by calling 07717150296 and leaving a message. One of the survey team will then call back.
