GARGUNNOCK RURAL AND FRIENDS ADVENT TRAIL
After the great success of the “Lockdown Scarecrow” event held by the Guides during the summer and Covid very much still affecting our every day lives, the ladies and friends of the Rural are turning the village into a “Living Advent Calendar for Christmas”. Each of the ladies involved will decorate one of their windows with an Advent scene in their house, and one window “opened” each evening between December 1 and December 24 (Christmas Eve) to be seen between 4pm and 9pm. The design of each window will remain secret until illuminated on their given day. To encourage everyone to join in the fun of finding which window has been opened, they will be opened randomly throughout the village - the only clue is the name of the streets where a window will be displayed - Millbrae, Mclaren Park, Charles Street, Stark Street, Drummond Place, Main Street, Leckie Road, Manse Brae and The Glebe. Have fun looking for the 24 windows.
