BANNOCKBURN MURRAYFIELD UF CHURCH

Sunday services continue at 10.30am on Youtube at Murrayfield UF Online, where a selection of hymns and prayers can also be found. Although members have not been meeting in the church building, they have been busy donating shoeboxes (mainly online) to Operation Christmas Child, and painting pebbles to be made into a stone installation when they eventually return to the building. November has been designated a “Gift Month” for members to make special donations to the church to make up for the loss of income caused by the lack of offerings and fund-raising events. And many of the usual quiz night contestants have been competing in the church’s online quizzes.

LADYWELL CHURCH

The church will remain closed meantime due to further Covid-19 restrictions.

ALLAN CHURCH

Sunday’s service on November 22 is at 11.15am and will be conducted by Rev Ken Russell. Team 2 on door duty. If Stirling goes into Tier 4 of the Scottish Government guidelines the church service will be postponed. Please check the website at www.allanchurch.org. There will be no online service until Friday, November 20 as the techies are having a rest. The services will be shorter than usual because there is no singing of hymns or reciting prayers together. This is in light of the guidelines from Scottish Government and Church of Scotland. There is a one-way system in church and you will be guided to a seat, which most likely will not be the seat you are used to, but you will be kept socially distanced and as safe as possible. There are the customary hand sanitisers throughout the church and masks will be available if you forget your own. Please note that you use this building at your own risk. If you feel unwell on the day or before please do not attend for both your own protection and others. Should you wish to contact the locum minister at this worrying time please email hiya @allanchurch. org. If you do not feel comfortable about attending church the service is available via the website. If you have no access to internet there is a recorded short message for the congregation and the community, which you can access via your home phone. Dial number 01786 641089. There will be a new message every week.

BANNOCKBURN HOUSE
