Nightout forfruit shopstaff

Reader Rosalyn Whitfield (Bernard) sent us this photograph which she thinks may be either Christmas of 1959 or 1960.

Rosalyn, who lives in Cowie, is pictured along with colleagues from Malcolm Campbell’s fruit shop which was based in Stirling town centre for many years.

Lining up for the camera in December 1993 are members of St Blane’s Drama Group, Dunblane, who staged a ‘spoof pantomime’ Sinbad to packed audiences over five performances.

Thirty pupils from Dunblane High School took part and among the leading characters were Cathy Mckillop (Sycarax) and Bob Watson (Khalil).
