We’re being charged extra to have our garden refuse bins emptied and Stirling Council is complaining about being short of money yet it is determined to proceed with an unwanted and completely un-necessary Viewforth Link road costing millions, which amount will surely increase substantially if the project goes ahead.

The whole thing smacks of the ridiculous Futureworld dream of years ago when a glass elevator was suggested from The Haining to the castle, which fortunately did not materialise.

There is already pedestrian access from Snowdon Place through Viewforth to Burghmuir car park and the cycle route via Wellgreen is not difficult.
