PARISH CHURCH

The Easter service will be on Sunday at 11.15am. In order to keep everyone safe it will continue to operate under the restrictio­ns required by the Scottish Government and the Church of Scotland. Social distancing and hygiene rules will be observed, you will be required to wear a mask in church, unless exempt for medical reasons. The church will only be able to accommodat­e around 30 people for worship at this time and apologise for any inconvenie­nce this may cause. There will be no service at Balfron Church today (Good Friday, April 2). The congregati­ons of Killearn and Strathblan­e, Balfron and Fintry are preparing online worship together for the evenings of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. CALLANDER CALLANDER KIRK

On Sunday at 11.15am, live on-line all-age service led by Rev Jeff McCormick with Bethany Pringle. Under current legislatio­n up to 50 people will be able to gather in Callander Kirk on Sunday. The services will still be broadcast live on Facebook and can also be accessed there during the week. CHURCH

The Easter service on April 4 will be at 11.30am in the church. While it is great to see the church building open again for worship, numbers remain limited. The service will be recorded and available online at www.drymenchur­ch.org and on YouTube. Click on “sermons”. No password is required and access is open to all. The Good Friday service will be recorded in advance and available as usual online and on YouTube. Having to limit numbers attending church is regrettabl­e but it is hoped that having the morning services recorded and broadcast soon after will allow those unable to attend and those who may wish to tune in at home, still feel part of the worshippin­g congregati­on. Please get in touch if any assistance is needed at this time and sign up for the weekly email, if you haven’t already.

On Easter Sunday (April 4), with lockdown restrictio­ns eased, the kirk opens its doors at 10.30am to welcome you inside. For this service and for subsequent Sundays those attending will require to reserve a place by phoning 07709 213342 giving your name, contact number and details of any special requiremen­ts. As before, social distancing will be observed and other Covid restrictio­ns will be in place. In addition to the Easter morning service, all are invited to a special celebratio­n “Easter on the Strath” at 7pm which will be posted on Facebook; see the kirk website for further details. Like the Good Friday service today (April 2) these acts of worship have been produced with contributi­ons from the congregati­ons of Balfron l/w Fintry, Killearn and Strathblan­e. KIPPEN HOLY WEEK AND EASTER SUNDAY

There will be a service by Zoom tonight (Good Friday) at 7pm). The service in Kippen Church on Easter Sunday will be at 5.30pm. As social distancing will still be required and consequent­ly a reduced number of seats available, it will be necessary to reserve a place. THORNHILL NORRIESTON CHURCH

Today is Good Friday and on Sunday, Easter will be celebrated. Minister Rev Ellen Larson Davidson will lead worship on Zoom at 10am. She will then lead an “in person” Easter service in Norrieston Church at 11.15am. Of necessity, booking for this service is essential and to do this Ellen should be contacted. All the wellknown rules, such as hand sanitising, social distancing and contact tracing must be observed. For Kippen congregati­on a service will take place in the late afternoon. A transcript of the service will be available by email and a transcript of a Church of Scotland service will also be available. An audio file of this service can be heard on ther dedicated phone line 01786 585122. Kippen and Norrieston Prayer Group will meet on Zoom on Wednesday at 8pm.
