ALLAN CHURCH
Service on Sunday, December 5, at 11.15am will be led by Rev Peter Gill. Welcome team 4. Church of Scotland mitigations are still in place as we are operating under Scottish Government guidelines but we are organised with hand sanitisers, and face masks (in case you forget your own). A one-way system is still the order of the day. We are again collecting for the foodbank and any items can be left in the church.
CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL
A Christmas Tree Festival will be held in the Allan Church on Saturday, December 11, from 10am-3pm. Entry by donation. Teas/coffees available. Homebaking stall with a fill your own box to take away, Christmas decorations/ornaments stall, tombola and ‘Play your Cards right.’ Soup and filled rolls will be available from noon. Fun and games in good company.
LADYWELL CHURCH
The service on Sunday at 11.15am is the second Sunday in Advent. We are still required to wear masks and names need to be taken for track and trace purposes. Although social distancing markers have been removed you are still advised to keep a sensible distance from people not in your family group or bubble. MURRAYFIELD UF CHURCH
The first of our Advent reflections is now available on YouTube at Murrayfield UF Online. Tonight at 7.30pm is the second of the Connect Group meetings on zoom. Services continue in the church hall on Sundays at 10.30am (remember your mask) and also on YouTube at Murrayfield UF Online. The Indoor Walking Group is on zoom on Mondays and Fridays at 4pm - details from Jean Hastings. The Kirk Session meets on Monday, December 6, at 2pm.

Cambusbarron’s Community Events Group holds its annual Christmas

BRUCE MEMORIAL CHURCH
The church will be open for prayer today (Wednesday) from 10am-noon. Everyone is welcome to drop in and enjoy the quietness in the presence of God. Our Knit and Natter group meets on Thursday from 10am-noon in the Church Hall. Our Sunday worship service is at 11am in the church and everyone is welcome. On the second Sunday of Advent, our reading will be from Matthew 1 as we think about Joseph and his important role in the Christmas story and what we can learn from his example. We are doing our best to prevent the spread of Covid - seating is socially distanced and mask-wearing is compulsory unless you are exempt. The service will also be available to watch live on the Bruce Memorial Church YouTube channel or you can catch up afterwards. Sunday School is now meeting in person in the Church Hall during the second half of the service. All primary school age children are welcome.

Girlguiding is holding a coffee and carols fundraiser in Stirling Guide Hut, Glebe Avenue in aid of hut funds on Saturday, December 4 from 10am until noon. Adults £2, children £1. Stalls include homebaking, crafts and tombola. Normal Covid protocols.

PARK CHURCH
Park Church, Park Terrace, worship for the second Sunday in Advent on December 5 at 11am will be led by Rev Elinor Gordon. It is also the annual Gift Service and donations of toys and gifts (unwrapped or in a gift bag) will be collected at the service or prior to Sunday via the church office and distributed by Women’s Aid. Coronavirus precautions require that masks are worn indoors (including when singing) and contact details recorded. There is no need to prebook seats. We offer activities for children of all ages and a crèche during the service. Coffee and tea will be served at tables after the service in the hall. We are delighted that the Rev Attie Van Wyk was chosen as Minister Elect for Park Church Stirling on November 28. There will be also be the opportunity before and after the service for those who have not already done so to sign the call for the Rev Attie Van Wyk. You may also sign on Sunday December 12 or at the Church office Tuesday-Friday 9.30-noon. The Park Church Coffee Club meets on Thursday mornings from 10.30-11.30am in the Main Hall. Friends new and old of any age are invited to come for a cuppa and chat.
