CARSE OF STIRLING ROTARY

Last week saw Rotary Club of Carse of Stirling gather at the Golden Lion for a business meeting. This is where everyone gets together to socialise, enjoy a meal and discuss the business of the club. We’ve been working very hard on our popular Santa’s Sleigh and can announce provisional dates for the sleigh’s appearances. These may change due to circumstances outwith our control, however we’ll try our best to stick to them where possible. The dates (all in December) are Randolph Road/Shirra’s Brae on December 2, Broomridge/ Braehead on Dec 5, Cambusbarron Dec 7, Torbrex Dec 9, Coneypark Dec 16, Bannockburn Dec 20 and Kings Park Dec 21. Additionally, Santa plans to be at Tesco Stirling on December 12 and 18, as well as Morrisons Stirling on December 11 and 19. This year Santa’s helpers won’t be knocking on doors, however they are still happy to accept donations when he is doing his rounds. In addition to cash, they can accept contactless payments and even have a ‘Go Fund Me’ page. Santa even has an online tracker, so keen Santa spotters can see where he is on his rounds. More information on all of this is available on our Facebook page. We’d encourage anyone who’d like more information on becoming a Rotarian to either pay us a visit on a Wednesday night, or get in touch through our social media channels, by searching for ‘@carserotary’.
