Clothing rental firm branches into maternity wear
A Stirling-based womenswear rental brand has branched into maternity wear.
Mums who still want to look fashionable whilst pregnant and breastfeeding - but don’t want to buy a range of clothing they will only need for a short period - can now rent stylish items through a new sustainable clothing partnership.
Stirling-based Sìoda has teamed up with Scottish fashion brand Murrelli to help breastfeeding mums feel stylish and confident in themselves, no matter where they’re nursing.
The launch of the exclusive partnership coincided with Mother’s Day - and comes at the same time that
Sìoda launches their new maternity range, featuring quality British brands Seraphine, Isabella Oliver and Tiffany Rose.
All clothing is available to rent on a monthly basis for £29 each or four items for £59 - with a subscription option to save more. The package includes free home delivery and collection, eco friendly laundering and accidental damage insurance as standard.
Sioda’s managing director Naomi Ross said:“At Sìoda we believe everybody should have access to quality clothing, no matter what their situation.
“Murrelli’s ethical approach to clothing manufacture is just one reason we’re delighted to partner with them, to offer their fantastic collection on a rental basis, alongside our luxury range of everyday, maternity and occasion wear for women.”
Sioda is blazing a trail in sustainable fashion rental in Scotland with managing director Naomi being invited as a guest speaker to a number of events in Scotland over the last year to discuss fashion and the circular economy by Zero Waste Scotland and Forth Valley Net Zero. They were also spotlighted to feature in the Scottish Government’s #LetsDoNetZero campaign.
