SEVEN MILES OUT

-

WE have a busy week of events coming up at Seven Miles Out starting with the popular Cryptic Quiz on Thursday hosted by Paul Jardine.

We have established a great community of people who enjoy this social evening with seven rounds of topical questions carefully prepared by Paul.

Why not come along at 7.30pm and check it out? Entry is £1 per person and teams can be up to four people. We usually have a great prize that is well worth winning too!

We would love acoustic performers or instrumentalists to join us for our Off The Rails Open Mic event on Friday.

This event is curated by Martin Gray who organises the popular Folk Train events and over the past few months we’ve had some amazing talent pop up and play. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or have only played in your bedroom, this is the night to showcase your talents to our music-loving audience and who knows where it might lead?

On Saturday we have the very first Art, Beer and Music event organised by local photographer Lee Harrison. Lee has organised for leading artists from all around the North West to donate pieces of their work for exhibition and auction in aid of Artism UK who support artists on the autistic spectrum.

The exhibition will be held at The Artism Gallery from Saturday, June 4, and run for two weeks.

In Seven Miles Out this Saturday we will also have an exhibition of the artists’ work from midday, the auction of the work will take place around 7pm and there will also be live music from great bands The Mantells and Good Foxy throughout the evening.

It promises to be an amazing evening and the funds raised will go towards supporting a fantastic cause in Stockport Old Town.

If you love art, beer and music, this is the event for you!

It’s Vintage Sunday this week so why not come down and step back in time at the Vintage Village Strawberries and Cream Fair in the Market Hall. We’ll have our Tea, Cake and Rock ‘n’ Roll event with Wonderland Cakes serving up some seasonal delicacies and some great tunes on the record player. All in all a week of jolly good fun, hope you can join us!
