England Masters taking to Bramhall field
BRAMHALL Cricket Club will be hosting the Bramhall Bash – a 20/20 cricket match and charity fundraising event on Friday 17 June in aid of 1000 Hearts for Harry as the Bramhall XI take on a PCA England Masters XI.
It’s going to be an action packed summer afternoon and evening of great entertainment when Ashes winners Steve Harmison and Simon Jones, joined by Mark Ramprakash, Paul Nixon, Alex Tudor, Vikram Solanki, Glen Chapple, Neil Fairbrother, Usman Afzaal, Dominic Cork and Devon Malcolm take on the Bramhall XI.
Stephen Harmison, PCA England Masters Team, said: “We are really looking forward to meeting the players, members, guests and fans at Bramhall Cricket Club on the 17th June.
“The PCA England Masters love to get together for these days and each one is unique but always enjoyable.
“We have felt very welcome on previous trips to Cheshire but we know that the cricket will be competitive, so we will be bringing a few of the big guns and hoping for another great day.”
The T20 match which starts at 4.45pm is the feature event but there is plenty more happening across the day including a hospitality marquee, junior tournaments and coaching sessions with the players as well as bars, eateries and refreshment tents, bouncy castle and face painting to keep the children amused.
Mike Tolan, host of the breakfast show on Key 103 will compère the event and live entertainment will continue after the game late into the evening with the Gillan Edgar band.
