SEVEN MILES OUT

-

IT’S time for Stockport’s favourite food festival Foodie Friday this Friday from 6pm in Stockport Market.

We are very grateful to our headline sponsors Orbit Developments for all their support for Foodie Friday which is allowing the event to grow and become such a wonderful evening for the community of Stockport. We would also like to thank Robinsons Brewery for their continued support of our events in Stockport Old Town and for helping to create a wonderful destination for people to eat, drink and socialise.

Foodie Friday has been described as ‘community spirit at its best’ and it’s a truly beautiful sight to see so many happy Stockport people, families and friends out enjoying their evening in the Market Place. If you haven’t tried it yet, please come along and soak up the atmosphere which really is electric.

Throughout the summer months we have 15 of the best street food traders in the North West selling delicious food from all around the world so it’s a great way to try something new and tasty. There is always a great offer in the Market Hall with traditional homemade food, quality craft ales, delicious cheeses and even cocktails. There really is something for everyone!

This month we have another great line-up of live entertainment with Stockport Ukulele Players, Dr Uke, The Fuse and The Small Blonde and Blank Cheque, back by popular demand as a four-piece to generate the feel-good vibes. All the bands will be playing in the Market Square and afterwards at Seven Miles Out so you get to see them twice!

In Seven Miles Out we are following up our great success of last month with more street food from ArtiSam in our Angel Yard offering some delicious locally-sourced slow-cooked beef brisket, handmade gourmet burgers and a tasty Vegan alternative. We’ll also have the children’s giant garden games out so come and enjoy the chilled out atmosphere with the kids.

We hope you can join us this Friday for a summer celebration in Stockport Old Town!
