Bramhall in driving seat with Chrome
BRAMHALL Cricket Club is delighted to have Chrome Motors of Woodford in the driving seat as main sponsor for the club over the next two years.
The new partnership came into effect at the beginning of the cricket season just as Chrome were settling into their new car showroom in Woodford and will help to fund improvements for the training facilities at the ground for both senior and junior members.
Club chairman Ian Milligan said: “An important element in approaching Chrome was because they share our philosophy of community interaction and support.
“They are already closely involved with local schools and sports clubs from the Macclesfield showroom so as a long-established club with an excellent reputation close to their new Woodford premises, it was a perfect fit!
“And we are looking forward to working with them and learning from their experiences.”
The Chrome Initiative, which started in 2010, seeks to build partnerships in communities through sport and events and already Chrome has played a key role at the recent Ladies Day event at Bramhall CC where £400 was raised for Target Ovarian Cancer and Manchester Cleft, Lip and Palate Service.
Adrian Bennett of Chrome said: “Bramhall CC is a forward-thinking and driven club with great energy and enthusiasm for progression.
“Being able to support the club so early on with Ladies Day has helped to cement our relationship and we look forward to supporting them in achieving their future goals.”
