Saturday 20 August – Marshals Meeting/ Quiz Night
With just two weeks to go at this stage to the Hatters Half Marathon on Sunday 4 September, this is a vital meeting that ensures we can provide the same level of excellence in terms of race organisation as last year.
The business meeting, at the Bungalow on Hardcastle Road, will be followed by a `Quiz Night’, the second such venture we have undertaken in recent times.
Sunday 21 & 28th August - Shrubbery Working Party on Marathon Route.
The majority of the Half Marathon route is off road on good quality tracks along the Trans Pennine Trail that skirts the mighty River Mersey.
Parts of the greenery on the route needs a trim.
These arrangements are to be confirmed but are pencilled firmly in.
Sunday 4 SeptemberHatters Half Marathon- & Post Event do for all volunteers.
