Of annual events starts to fill up fast
– Members MeetingPost Match in the Bungalow.
Whilst the venue has to be confirmed for this one, holding another meeting so close to the one held 16 July fits our policy of maintaining maximum contact with members.
Sunday 11 SeptemberWoodStock(Port) from 2pm at the Spinning Top
This `all day `event – staged in support of the Guardian Account will feature live bands from 2 pm onwards and should be an absolute cracker!
Saturday 17 December – Christmas Cavort
The venue for this is yet to be confirmed, but previous years have seen an enjoyable event raise decent money for the GA as well as bringing enjoyment to our members.
Other dates were discussed and the most important of these was the AGM of the Supporters Cooperative and provisionally this was set to go on Thursday 17 November at the Bungalow. In addition it was agreed that the Cooperative would again purchase a wreath for presentation at the Annual Memorial Day on 5 August, to honour all deceased County supporters.
The first week in August will also see the Cooperative embark on a podcast type eventworking title ` Coop Talking’ in which Coop Board Members will record a lively conversation to be posted to the website countysupporterscoop. co.uk
And finally, we will be present every County home game in the Cheadle End Cabin, so please keep the County Memorabilia coming in. You can drop items off between 1.30 and 2.30 before every game, and the money raised will boost the Guardian Account.
