Scheme among topics at meeting

Brewery to donate 50p per pint of The Ghost, the award-winning beer produced in cooperation between Cryptic and the Supporters Co-op, at the Spinning Top, on County match day evenings until 8pm.

The chairman appealed for members to help the events team. They are working very hard and producing great results, but need extra hands to help out.

Any volunteers can commit to as much or as little involvement as they wish but they would be giving valuable support with events that raise significant sums for the Guardian Account.

Following the meeting Andy Plant stepped forward to help but we still need around another two volunteers.

The meeting’s attention was drawn to the fact that Memorial Day was being held this year on August 5 at the Royal Scot on Marple Bridge from noon onwards.

Members were urged to support this unique occasion to which the Supporters Co-op would again be sending a suitable wreath.

The chairman also said that there would be a fans forum on Thursday, August 4, on the Moving Forward document.

The event is at Robinsons Brewery at 7pm.

It was agreed that clarification be sought as to the future plans.

A date of Thursday, November 17 has been agreed on for the AGM, to be held at the Bungalow.
