Maintaining healthy lines of communication
HAVE you noticed how troubles seem to park themselves on you in bundles?
For sure the last few weeks have been a touch testing in the Brown household.
You know the score; cellar floods, computer goes on the blink at your busiest time, I break my camera and woe upon woe my knees do what knees are apt to do and render it impossible for me to run and keep fit.
None of these are life threatening situations and all of us have experienced similar, and know the problems.
The last decade or so for Stockport County has been a similar rocky ride.
Thankfully, there’s usually light at the end of most tunnels, and for myself the morning of 28 July was particularly rewarding having sneaked out, ignoring dire weather forecasts for my first ‘run’ for a month.
Just a mile and a half but relatively trouble free, and an additional bonus was that the rain held off until five minutes after I had finished my run!
Deep joy then and some of that happiness factor is returning to the club also with Richard Park at the helm as the club board works to make County a stable, debt free entity.
The Supporters Cooperative have been happy to work with the current board of the club to this end, for the benefit of both supporters and the club.
Our policy of Constructive Engagement incorporates a resolve to ensure that questions raised by supporters are made known to the club board, where appropriate, and answers obtained.
