-

CARDINAL Maritime Ltd has donated £1,500 to Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society.

Finance director Liam McGonagle and staff presented the charity with a cheque during a visit to the society’s day centre at Granville House on Parsonage Road in Heaton Moor.

Cardinal Maritime have supported the Charity for more than three years by making donations and supporting with fundraising events.

Liam said: “Cardinal Maritime Ltd is very pleased to be able to help such a good cause as Stockport CP who do such a fantastic job in supporting disabled people locally.

“The Cardinal Maritime Trust recognises the good work of local charities in the community and is delighted to be able to help”.

Fundraiser Adrian Rigby Bates added: “Everyone at Stockport CP Society is very grateful to Cardinal Maritime Ltd for such fabulous support and for their kindness in making such a generous donation. The funds raised will go towards equipment and activities for our service users who have profound physical or learning disabilities. The people who use our services are at the heart of everything we do for fundraising and every single penny from fundraising activities goes back into the charity to make sure that the most vulnerable people get the help and support they need to live a more independent life”.
