Guardian Account and membership count
IN the Stockport Express of 5 October, I confirmed that after much hard work, a notable double had been achieved namely the Guardian Account reaching £27000 and Supporters Cooperative membership hitting 400. Well I can now update you – the respective figures now stand at £29000 and 436 respectively, which is really excellent news.
Our AGM is almost upon us, and members will already have received a letter from our Independent Secretary along with the formal Call for Nominations. Between now and 17 November, they will be receiving further material relevant to the AGM and we urge them to attend the Bungalow at 7.30pm on the 17 November and play a full part in the decisions taken.
Meanwhile, the Supporters Cooperative wanted to do something tangible to help the Club, and with this in mind, have agreed to be match ball sponsors for the Kidderminster game on Saturday 29 October. As part of the sponsorship deal, we get 8 corporate places at the game, and the plan is to do a draw on the 24th October (at our next board meeting).
We will draw 4 members names and they will each be given 2 tickets to be the Clubs guests on the day, the corporate deal is pre match meal with drinks, seats in the directors box and the signed match ball, winners will be notified on 25th October.
The same Kidderminster fixture also sees the next big Supporters Cooperative event , the Quiz Night , taking place that evening.
This years event is being held at the Spinning Top,
