Peeping Tom had child sex
A PAEDOPHILE who watched girls getting changed in swimming bath cubicles and had sex with a 15-year-old has been jailed.
Jamie O’Rourke admitted sexually exploiting teenage girls in the Stockport and Rochdale areas.
The court heard that in June 2014, O’Rourke was caught peeping under cubicles where two young girls were changing at a swimming baths in Stockport.
He was detained and arrested for voyeurism.
In January 2016, O’Rourke was arrested for a sexual offence against a 15-year-old girl at an address in Stockport.
The 27-year-old was then bailed.
Police launched an investigation, and it was found that between November 2015 and February 2016 O’Rourke was involved in a sexual relationship with a teenage girl, who was 15 at the time. It was reported to police by the girl and O’Rourke was arrested for sexual activity with a child and remanded into custody.
O’Rourke, of Crescent Road, Brinnington, pleaded guilty at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court to eight counts of sexual activity with a child and two counts of voyeurism at an earlier court hearing.
On Friday, October 21, he was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison.

“With their help, we have been able to ensure O’Rourke is behind bars and cannot prey on any more young girls.
“I hope this result demonstrates our commitment to getting justice for victims of child sexual exploitation.”
