Toasting the new look as pub reopens after refurb

-

A PUB has reopened its doors after closing for refurbishment.

The Dog and Partridge, on the A6, in Great Moor, was shut for three weeks for the work, which has seen the pub have increased open space created and be more suitable for live music.

Owners Robinsons brewery and licensee Andy Green both made ‘substantial investment’ to fund the new look. The pub also now has a new menu created with Robinsons’ food development manager Nick Burns

Andy said: “The Dog and Partridge has always been at the heart of the community and we are extremely proud of the role we play for the area.

“Whilst it certainly had its charms, the pub was definitely in need of fresh coat of paint so it was really a no-brainer when Robinsons approached us.

“The results really are phenomenal. I can’t thank the brewery’s team enough for their hard work over the last three weeks.

“The new look will help the Dog and Partridge continue to thrive and give the community a great meeting place for many years to come.”

Tony Massey, from Robinsons, said: “We are extremely proud of all our pubs and our heartland certainly holds a special place in our hearts.

“With the Dog and Partridge joining the long list of our upgraded pubs across the A6 and in the area, Stockport is becoming a real hotspot for brilliant pubs and brilliant beer.”
