●MATTHEW IAN WHELAN, 31, of Beaver House, Offerton, pleaded guilty to making off without payment and criminal damage. Fined £165, £156 compensati­on, £85 costs.

●SHEILA ROWBOTTOM, 65, of Gawsworth Close, Poynton, admitted drink-driving. Community punishment order with an activity requiremen­t, fined £300, 25 month driving ban, £85 costs.

●WILLIAM ALISTAIR CAIRNS, 23, of Buckingham Street, Davenport, pleaded guilty to the use of threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and failing to surrender to custody. Community punishment order with 100 hours unpaid work, £85 costs.

●ANDREW DEAN, 39, of Victoria Park, Offerton, admitted shopliftin­g. Community punishment order with an activity requiremen­t, £85 costs.

●DEAN NEIL WINFIELD, 37, of Masefield Grove, Reddish, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer, criminal damage and failing to surrender to custody. Six weeks jail, £149.46 compensati­on.

●MARK DELWYN RICHARDS, 38, of Underhill, Romiley, admitted driving while unfit through drugs, class A drug possession and failing to surrender to custody. Thirteen weeks jail, three-year driving ban.

●KIMBERLEY KEENYA BRODERICK, 35, of Vale Close, Romiley, admitted shopliftin­g and failing to provide a sample. Eight weeks jail suspended for a year, 40 hours unpaid work, £85 costs.

●STEVEN JAMES BOOND, 24, of Barlow Crescent, Marple, pleaded guilty to the use of threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Fined £150, restrainin­g order, £300 costs.

●ANTHONY SCOTT APSLEY, 49, of York Close, Cheadle, admitted two counts of shopliftin­g. One year conditiona­l discharge, £50 compensati­on, £85 costs.
