Elfie adds magic to hospice campaign
ST Ann’s Hospice is once again running a Get Elfie Christmas campaign, with lots of ways for children and adults to get involved and support a local charity.
Elfie’s Magical Adventures takes place on Saturday, December 3 from 11am to 3pm at Wythenshawe Park and features a sponsored treasure hunt.
The Grinch has stolen the elves’ tools, and children will be given a map to help them look for clues to find them all and win a prize.
There’s ‘snow way’ adults can be scrooges either, with a separate competition for those who are too old for the treasure hunt. Prices are £3.50 for children and free for adults, and there will be entertainment and refreshments available.
If you can’t make it to Elfie’s Magical Adventures, St Ann’s is inviting supporters to hold their own Get Elfie event.
Grab a Get Elfie fundraising pack for lots of ideas and activities if you fancy doing something for St Ann’s.
Hannah Saunders, partnerships manager at St Ann’s Hospice, said: “Get Elfie is all about having fun whilst raising money for a fantastic cause. By getting involved you really will be making a huge difference to the lives of local people, at a special time of the year.”
