HELP COLLECT CHARITY CASH

I AM writing to appeal to your readers for volunteers to help raise funds for the British Red Cross at a fundraising collection in the Stockport area.

We have been kindly allocated a collection at Stockport County FC on Saturday, December 17. We are looking for local people to give just two hours of their time to join our fundraisers to raise vital funds for the Red Cross.

Just two hours of your time can help save the life of someone vulnerable in crisis right here in Stockport or across the world. The Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.

The Red Cross responds to emergencies all over the world and offers aid and support to communities affected by natural disasters. Here in the UK the Red Cross provide a variety of health and social care services including care in the home and medical equipment loans. They respond to emergencies, providing practical and emotional support and also provide first aid training and refugee services.
