SEVEN MILES OUT

WE’VE got a great line-up of events this week starting with our ‘A Laugh In Stockport’ comedy night this Thursday which has sold out every month.

It’s wonderful to see a great community of comedy lovers gather in Seven Miles Out, the atmosphere is brilliant and with up to six performers, it’s amazing value for money. If you haven’t yet had the ‘A Laugh In Stockport’, experience make sure you snap up a ticket for our comedy events early next year.

Friday is our night for top-quality acoustic music and we’re delighted to welcome ‘Incredible Planet’ who are Darren Poyzer and Kevin ‘Leftie’ Farrell, each talented singersongwriters in their own right, together a musical phenomenon.

Incredible Planet are a live concert duo, writers and performers of over 50 original songs and musical entertainers with a wide range of classic cover songs, poignant stories and banter.

Joining them this Friday are Martin Travers, guitarist and singer with Belle Vue Dogs who have performed at Foodie Friday several times and Barry Lawton, a contemporary singer songwriter from Crewe, who plays an intelligent set of powerful emotional songs, centred around his working and family life. Barry has played gigs with Darren and Kevin on many occasions, and is one of Darren’s favourite, inspired songwriters.

For a great chilled-out evening of quality live music, please join us for Incredible Planet, admission is free.

If you’re looking for a fun Christmas night out with friends, come along to Seven Miles Out this Saturday when we will be hosting our Sound and Vision Glam Retro Party Night.

Sound and Vision has become something of a phenomena with a clientèle of lovely people dancing to retro classics from past decades provided by the ace family team of Vicki, Ric and James Collard aka ‘The Vinyl Frontier’. The vibe at Sound and Vision is always relaxed and friendly as someone commented last month, ‘It’s like having a disco in your own front room’.

This Saturday night, feel free to dress up in your finest glam clothes and emulate our classic music icons of Bowie, Bolan and Ferry as you strike a pose on the dancefloor. Hope you can join us to strut your funky stuff, entry is free.
