Lots of festive fun to be had in town

IT’S that fabulously busy time of year again when everyone seems to be racing towards the deadline of December 25.

To help you get in the festive mood there are many events taking place across Stockport, providing plenty of opportunities for you to come and soak up the atmosphere and find that special gift.

Over the past few weeks, Christmas light switch-ons, festive markets, late night shopping and other events have been taking place in Stockport town centre and across many of our local and district centres, as community groups, businesses and independent traders work together to bring the spirit of Christmas to their communities.

Stockport has a particularly strong and supportive business community that succeeds in achieving amazing things for our town. Their hours of hard work and effort putting on amazing festive events for you and your families to enjoy should be applauded.
