We need volunteers to take on key roles

THE Wellspring is currently looking for new volunteers.

We have a number of roles in the organisation that we need support with so we are now actively recruiting new volunteers.

We currently have limited space on some of our kitchen teams, preparing, cooking and serving meals to around 100 people.

We also need volunteers to support us with cleaning and maintenance of the project. And we have a number of spaces to fill on our cleaning teams and donation teams.

We are also looking for people with specific skills to join our board of directors.

We would be very interested to hear from people who can help assist The Wellspring with IT and social media expertise, fundraising, project management, marketing or experience of social work.

Thanks so much to everyone who has signed up for The Great Manchester 10K run and The Manchester Half Marathon so far.

The events take place on Sunday, May 28 2017 and Wellspring has free places in both events in return for fundraising for the charity. We don’t set anyone a fundraising target.

This year we have teamed up with Metro Gym in the centre of Stockport who will be facilitating a free training running club, these sessions will be starting at the end of the month.
