Lining up dates for the diary aplenty

The Events Team have enlisted the help of runner Rebecca Sykes in their quest for expertise, and are looking to make the third Hatters Half the best yet!

In this respect Giles indicated that a number of local clubs already had the race in their race calendar, and he expressed to me the hope that Stockport Harriers would soon follow suit!

The Half Marathon, now an established, well thought of ,road and trail race, is by far the Supporters Cooperatives largest contributor to the Guardian Account.

In second place as far as Guardian Account sources of income is concerned, is the Cheadle End Cabin, which on match days attracts much interest from County fans, pre- match.

A tidy sum has been raised via the cabin, from where County memorabilia is sold in support of the Guardian Account, between 1.30 and 2.30.

Shirts are by far the most popular line but we also sell and receive donations of hats, scarves and a few badges.

No doubt John and Dave will be around at some point after 1.30, so why not catch their eye and start a conversation!
