NK THEATRE ARTS

DRAMA comes to the Forum Theatre this month when the classic tragi-comedy ‘The Visit’ plays in Stockport for one night only on Thursday, April 20, at 7.30pm.

Fredrich Durrenmatt’s classic play follows the story of Claire Zachanassian, now a multimillion heiress and an older woman, as she returns to the impoverished town of her youth with a dreadful bargain: in exchange for returning the town to prosperity through her vast wealth, she wants the townspeople to kill the man who jilted her.

If you have never seen this play before you are in for a real treat as the varied performances taking place at the theatre continues with what is very much a piece of experimental classic theatre of the absurd play.

Tickets for the performance costs £10 or £8 for concessions and can be booked by calling our ticketline 0333 666 3366 or you can also book online by visiting the website www. theforumtheatre.co.uk where you can also see all of the up and coming performances at The Forum Theatre which includes William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Chicagoland Blues Brothers, The Magic of the Musicals and The Little Mermaid to name but a few.
