Last day to catch Canvases on display in town
THE Industrial Canvases exhibition by Teina Ryynanen at Epok Studios, Wellington Road South, Stockport, is open for one final day today (April 19).
It will be open from 5pm to 8pm and entry is free, before it closes to the public.
Teina is a Finnish photographer and Industrial Canvasses is her first solo exhibition.
In the series of Industrial Canvasses, she explores ideas that inspire her in the urban surrounding she lives in.
In the photographs, the run-down and broken take the centre stage.
She is interested in the layers the city holds and people’s mark on them and aims to find beauty and interest in unconventional places, textures and patterns that urban environments hold.
