I have been truly honoured to represent area
AFTER the Easter weekend The Prime Minister surprised the country, and even her own MPs, with the announcement of an early general election.
However we need this election now to secure the strong and stable leadership the country needs to see us through Brexit and beyond.
I shall therefore be seeking re-election as the MP for the Hazel Grove constituency, to continue to deliver on local priorities and to support Theresa May in building a more secure and united Britain.
I am proud of my two-year record representing the Hazel Grove constituency, during which I have been fighting to protect our green belt from over-zealous housing developers, seeking fairer funding for our schools and campaigning for better local transport infrastructure.
I have been truly honoured to represent the area where I was born and brought up in Parliament since 2015.
I hope to be able to continue to stand up for local people and to deliver results on the issues that matter most to them.
I will also be supporting the Prime Minister, Theresa May, in delivering strong and stable leadership that the United Kingdom needs to see us through Brexit and beyond.
Nationally we need a strong Conservative Government to deliver the best possible Brexit deal, to keep our economy strong and growing and to create jobs, to keep taxes low for working people, provide real opportunity for all through education, continue to invest in our NHS and to build a more secure and united country.
I am looking forward over the coming weeks to getting out and talking to as many residents as possible.
I will be also listening to your local priorities and issues which you want represented in Westminster during the next period of Government ahead.
I hope you will see fit to entrust me with this honour and responsibility once again come polling day in June.
