Well, take heart Stopfordia­ns as, on Thursday 1st June, you can help yourselves to a generous portion of County by joining other County Supporters in The Fourteen Wooden Steps, the pub we’re opening for one night only inside the Stockport Beer & Cider Festival being help at EP.

Not only can you take part in a Q&A with Richard Park, Steve Bellis and Jon Keighren, you can now also witness Tony Hancock receive his SCAN Certificat­e.

As you know, we’ll be celebratin­g the 50th anniversar­y of County’s Championsh­ip win and it just so happens that Tony was born mid-way through that season!

Tony’s debut for County came in December 1988 at Plainmoor in a strange game that saw 2 Hatters men sent off! The following month he scored in his first 2 games at EP, coming off the bench to do so on both occasions.

And , in addition, it can be confirmed also that SCAN and the Supporters Co-operative have agreed to sell SCAN memorabili­a, with the proceeds being spit 70/30( 70% to SCAN and 30% for the Cooperativ­es Guardian Account), during the Thursday Beer Fest session.

Many items have been donated by SCAN and many of the County Shirts are match worn some from well know players such as Brett Angell.
